The position of Oncology Concierge Technician plays a crucial role within Onco360 Pharmacy by supporting pharmacists and pharmacy operations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of handling specialty medication dispensing, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and manufacturer programs. Oncology Concierge Technicians act as the first point of contact for patient and provider inquiries, resolving questions efficiently or directing them appropriately within the organization. The role includes coordination of medication deliveries, collection of co-payments, and managing inbound calls with care and professionalism.
Candidates will be trained to understand the unique attributes and business rules surrounding manufacturer programs that collaborate with Concierge Services. The technician also assists senior management by performing tasks critical to maintaining manufacturer relationships, such as verifying medication statuses, facilitating HUB enrollment opportunities, and researching updates for patients awaiting medications. All activities performed are aligned with state and federal laws and applicable Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategies (REMS) programs, ensuring both safety and regulatory compliance.
This full-time position offers a flexible schedule with shifts from Monday to Friday, either 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM EST, with potential for remote work.                 - High school diploma or GED
 - one or more years of pharmacy experience
 - registration with Board of Pharmacy as required by state law
 - strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
 - self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing priorities
 - pharmacy or healthcare-related knowledge including pharmacy terminology, sig codes, Roman numerals, brand and generic medication names
 - basic math and analytical skills
 - intermediate typing and keyboarding skills
