The Logistics Representative Senior - Advanced Programs - Level 3, based at the Palmdale, California facility, is a critical role within the Skunk Works program. The position entails direct, hands-on support to on-site customers and program operations by managing the lifecycle sustainment and logistics for advanced aerospace programs. The logistics professional in this role will coordinate shipments, oversee material movement, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with stringent regulatory and security protocols. This job requires a thorough understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics documentation including international shipment procedures for both CONUS and OCONUS destinations. The candidate will proactively analyze demand history and inventory levels, preparing detailed reports to validate supply commitments and optimize material readiness. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential as this role interfaces regularly with customers, engineers, and functional departments across the program. In addition to fundamental logistics duties, the candidate will identify and resolve operational challenges, provide training to customer personnel as requested, and maintain an expert level understanding of logistics business principles, cataloging processes, and terminology. Operational flexibility is a key attribute for this role, as it may require travel and support in austere and remote environments, abiding by mobility requirements such as chemical warfare training and necessary vaccinations. A current Top Secret clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination are mandatory for employment given the sensitive nature of the work and facility security requirements. This full-time, onsite position follows a work schedule of four 10-hour days with three days off per week, supporting Lockheed Martin's flexible and alternative scheduling options. Candidates must be U.S. citizens eligible for access to classified information and capable of maintaining compliance with government security protocols.
