The Merchandiser position at Heart of America Beverage is perfect for energetic and motivated individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic setting. This is a hands-on role that involves directly supporting retail operations by merchandising and maintaining beer displays, ensuring product visibility and cleanliness, and fostering strong relationships with store personnel. The role works on a schedule comprising four ten-hour days per week, beginning early in the morning at 6:30 AM, and involves weekend and holiday shifts to accommodate store needs. Starting compensation for this position is set at $16.00 per hour, with opportunities for wage increases after six months and one year, providing room for growth and recognition based on performance. As a Merchandiser, you will take pride in neatly arranging product displays and shelves, maintaining proper rotation of products to ensure freshness and availability, and accurately updating price tags and promotional point-of-sale materials. The role demands attention to detail, quality work, and excellent customer service by building rapport with store staff and representing the Heart of America Beverage brand positively. Additionally, merchandisers are responsible for identifying store-specific challenges and opportunities, communicating these to sales management to help optimize sales strategies. This role requires a strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to function effectively both independently and as part of a team. Because this is a physically demanding job, candidates must be prepared to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items regularly—including up to 40 pounds and occasionally moving 185-pound kegs—reach and move in a variety of ways, and navigate store environments including climbing ladders and working in cold cooler conditions. Valid driving credentials and a clean driving record are mandatory, as the position involves travel between various store locations. Passing a pre-employment drug screen is also required to ensure safety and compliance. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in merchandising or retail environment beneficial
• Must be physically capable of performing demanding tasks as described
• Must have valid driver’s license
