The role available at Legacy Parking is for a Maintenance Personnel position dedicated to the upkeep and custodial duties within the Underground Atlanta parking garages situated at 75 MLK Jr Garage and 95 MLK Jr Garage, both located in Atlanta, GA. This position is an hourly role offering a wage of $16.00 per hour. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining facility appearance and function, ensuring that the parking garages and surrounding premises are clean, safe, and operating efficiently. The Maintenance Personnel will perform daily inspections and maintenance tasks such as cleaning, minor repairs, lubrication, painting, wash-downs, and debris removal. Operating equipment such as blowers, sweepers, and power washers will be a significant part of the job to maintain the overall aesthetic and operational quality of the property. This role also requires adherence to a preventative maintenance schedule communicated by the Location Manager, facilitating proactive upkeep to avoid bigger issues. Customer service is a prime component of this role, where the individual must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, staff, and management. Legacy Parking stresses the importance of consistent communication and accurate, timely reporting through maintenance logs to keep management informed about facility conditions, supplies needed, and any defects or repairs required. This position demands physical endurance as it involves working both indoors and outdoors under varying weather conditions. The maintenance work can be physically intensive, requiring standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 100 pounds. Flexibility in scheduling is vital since the role might include shifts on nights, weekends, or holidays. The shift is primarily scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
