Our company is a well-established logistics and delivery service provider dedicated to ensuring timely and safe delivery of products to our valued customers. We specialize in operating a fleet of box trucks and various delivery vehicles, focusing on efficient distribution across a wide network of clients. As a recognized leader in our industry, we prioritize customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and employee safety in all our activities. We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This position operates Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30 am and continuing until all deliveries are completed, with some rotating Saturdays required. The schedule may vary depending on business needs and can require overtime. In this role, you will be responsible for driving box trucks weighing under 26,001 pounds or other delivery vehicles along assigned routes, making between 10 to 20 deliveries per day. You will be expected to maintain accurate delivery logs, driver records, and fuel purchase logs as required by company policies and legal regulations. Your primary duties will include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle, lifting and handling deliveries that can weigh up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds, and exerting physical force when managing industrial products such as barrels and tires. Team lifts and mechanical equipment are used when lifting heavier items. Additionally, you may occasionally assist with loading and unloading trucks, sometimes operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers. The work environment is fast-paced and demands effective communication with customers, coworkers, and management. You will also be responsible for collecting payments upon delivery and ensuring that all routes are completed efficiently while maintaining safety standards. This role typically requires working approximately 8 to 12 hours per day. The company provides handheld devices to assist in tracking and completing deliveries. Our ideal candidate should be a self-motivated individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to adapt to changing schedules. Safety awareness, punctuality, and customer service skills are crucial in this role. This position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive team dedicated to high service standards and continuous improvement. Joining our company means becoming part of a commitment to quality and reliability in logistics services. We offer a dynamic work environment where you can grow your skills and contribute to the success of our delivery operations.
