Austin Country Club offers a full-time Night Shift Kitchen Cleaner / Dishwasher position within its hospitality team, providing a competitive wage of $18 per hour. This role is crucial to maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the club’s kitchen operations during evening hours, typically from 2 pm to 10:30 pm. Night Shift Kitchen Cleaners / Dishwashers are responsible for thoroughly cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen areas, using commercial dishwashing equipment and hand washing as necessary. They also polish silverware, platters, and chafing dishes to ensure high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Beyond cleaning duties, this role involves supporting food preparation tasks, properly storing food after delivery, and maintaining the organization of coolers, freezers, and storerooms. The Dishwasher will also be tasked with collecting and disposing of trash, breaking down boxes, and maintaining a tidy kitchen environment by wiping down shelves, dish cabinets, and commonly used equipment like ice machines and coffee areas. An important aspect of this position includes managing the operation of dishwashing machines to ensure correct temperature settings for effective sanitation.
