The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless financial and operational procedures during the overnight hours at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort. This position involves managing and performing the night audit operations to maintain strict financial controls and ensure compliance with hotel standards. The Night Auditor works closely with departments such as Security and Housekeeping to uphold the highest standards of guest service and operational quality. Responsibilities include auditing daily financial data from the restaurant and front office systems, reconciling revenue and accounts, making necessary adjustments, and resolving any computer system issues that may arise during the shift. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong mathematical skills, the ability to perform complex calculations, and proficient computer literacy. Effective communication is also essential, as the Night Auditor must interact positively with both guests and associates.
