We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our team. This essential role is responsible for overseeing the reconciliation and analysis of daily financial figures, including closing the day’s transactions and ensuring accuracy across various reports. The Night Auditor acts as the Manager on Duty (MOD) during nighttime hours, delivering excellent customer service by managing guest registration, checkout, cashiering, and other front desk duties. This role requires a professional who can handle cash and credit transactions with precision, balance cash drawers, and comply with audit procedures prescribed by the hotel, ensuring all fiscal records and reports are accurate and complete.
The Night Auditor will also be central to guest relations, providing courteous and prompt responses to inquiries, managing reservations, and attending to specific guest needs such as making wake-up calls. A key part of the position is communication and coordination with other hotel departments to relay information about guest requests, VIP arrivals, and any overnight incidents. This role also involves handling the PBX operator functions, managing messages and calls effectively.
Proficiency in various systems such as Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Property Management Systems (PMS), telephone switchboard (PBX), key systems, and Point of Sale (POS) technology is vital. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, leadership qualities, and the ability to operate independently make this position crucial to the smooth functioning of hotel operations during overnight hours. Physical demands include the ability to stand for extended periods, manage light to moderate lifting, and operate office equipment efficiently.

- previous experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
