The Manager I (MGRI) position at Burger 21 is critical in maintaining and elevating the operational standards of the restaurant. The primary objective of this role is to assist branch management in the tactical execution of Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) operations or similar restaurant management functions. As a Manager I, you will be responsible for ensuring that the restaurant is clean, fully staffed, and ready for business at all times. You will operate according to the company’s prescribed policies and procedures, making informed management decisions to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The role involves supervising associates, overseeing daily activities, and maintaining high customer service standards.
This position also includes responsibilities such as completing opening, daily, and closing procedures in compliance with company policies, participating in hiring and termination decisions, assigning work tasks, and ensuring that all shifts are adequately covered. The Manager I will also focus on maintaining cleanliness standards, visual appeal, and equipment functionality within the restaurant. A key part of the role is managing cash transactions according to HMSHost’s cash handling policies and ensuring the security of cash at all times. Additionally, the Manager I will monitor compliance with wellness and safety procedures, promote safety awareness, and report any concerns.
