This part-time position is integral to maintaining the welcoming and pristine environment at Wake Forest University. The role is designed for individuals dedicated to upholding cleanliness and safety standards in key areas such as the Lobby, public areas, restrooms, Main Lounge, and Dining Rooms. The successful candidate will work under general supervision to ensure that these spaces meet the high standards set by campus management. Responsibilities include routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, replenishing supplies, as well as operating cleaning machinery with care and efficiency. Additionally, this role requires attention to detail in tasks such as cleaning glass doors and windows, ashtrays, and maintaining organized housekeeping storage.
The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the campus community by providing a clean and inviting atmosphere for both guests and employees. Communication skills are important, as the role involves interaction with staff and visitors to maintain positive relations. The role also requires the ability to perform various physical activities including lifting, standing, and walking, often under varying environmental conditions. Knowledge of safety procedures and the ability to follow detailed cleaning instructions are essential.

- Completion of some high school plus six months of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
