The General Manager role at Hardee's is key to overseeing one of the brand's 36 family restaurants. This vital leadership position accounts for managing and directing restaurant operations, ensuring the team is guest-focused, cohesive, and well-connected to the local community. Reporting to the District Manager, the General Manager supervises Restaurant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Crew, guaranteeing that all personnel are executing their roles effectively and meeting performance expectations. This role also involves executing and supporting the business plan tailored for the specific restaurant to maximize profitability and brand presence.
This position demands a dynamic individual who is adept at balancing multiple facets of restaurant management including financial performance, staffing, quality control, safety, and marketing efforts. The General Manager is charged with increasing the restaurant's financial profitability by analyzing business performance and taking corrective action when necessary. Maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness are critical to ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the General Manager oversees recruitment, training, performance management, and internal communications to foster a motivated and high-performing team.
Operationally, the General Manager ensures appropriate staffing levels to meet guest flow demands and that all sanitation, safety, and security policies are fully implemented and enforced.
