The role being offered is a front-of-house team member position at Le Pain Quotidien, designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This is an hourly position with a pay range between $16.50 and $22.00 per hour plus tips, depending on experience and location. As a front-of-house team member, you will be the face of the brand, providing friendly and attentive service to guests throughout their visit. The job involves preparing and serving drinks, managing retail food and pastry displays, handling sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized working environment. Your responsibilities will include anticipating guest needs and preferences to ensure an exceptional dining experience. You will also be cross-trained in various aspects of the restaurant, including the dining room and retail areas, enabling you to support operations wherever necessary. Handling guest inquiries with empathy and escalating issues to management highlights the brand's commitment to excellent service and creating a positive environment for both guests and employees. The role requires proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems, with preference given to experience using Toast POS. Flexibility in scheduling is highly preferred to accommodate various shifts, supporting the dynamic needs of restaurant operations.
