The mortgage loan originator role at Elevations Credit Union is a full-time position operating with a 100 percent commission-based compensation model that is highly competitive and uncapped, offering significant earnings potential. The position does not include supervisory responsibilities but invites the successful candidate to be an integral part of a dynamic mortgage sales team led by the Mortgage Sales Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for originating mortgage loans within an assigned territory, developing and maintaining referral relationships with realtors, builders, bankers, and other business sources to proactively solicit new business and meet loan origination goals. The role involves counseling customers, taking loan applications, conducting preliminary underwriting reviews, and submitting loan applications for processing and final approval. The mortgage originator will be the primary contact for customers and realtors during the loan process, ensuring that documentation required for processing, underwriting, and closing is obtained in a timely manner. Elevations supports its mortgage sales professionals with dedicated marketing support, in-house underwriters and closers, a unique relationship processing team, and access to a broad network of over 300 real estate events annually.
