The Executive Chef role at Medina Golf & Country Club, under the umbrella of Invited, is a pivotal leadership position within the club's culinary department. This position is responsible for managing all kitchen operations to deliver high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective culinary experiences that meet Invited’s exacting standards. The Executive Chef's duties include planning diverse menus that appeal to the club’s discerning members and guests, ensuring seamless food preparation processes, and overseeing the procurement and maintenance of kitchen ingredients and equipment. Leading a team of kitchen staff, this individual ensures that all employees are well-trained, motivated, and operate efficiently.
Beyond culinary leadership, the Executive Chef is instrumental in maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment in full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. Financial acumen is also critical for this role, as the Executive Chef is charged with managing food and labor costs to achieve profitable kitchen operations. Collaboration with other departments, including Food & Beverage and Event Sales, is a core component of this position to ensure flawless banquet and event execution. The role also involves direct engagement with club members through daily table visits, soliciting and acting upon feedback to continually enhance the dining experience. This position requires a balance of creativity, leadership, operational excellence, and financial management to support the overall mission and success of Medina Golf & Country Club and Invited as a whole.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years experience as an Executive Chef
- proven expertise in supervising kitchen staff
- managing cost controls
- ensuring product quality and maintaining sanitation standards
- valid county food handler's permit
- ServeSafe permit
