The Utility Associate role at HMSHost within its Starbucks operation is a vital position responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitization standards to promote a healthy and safe environment for both employees and customers. This is a non-exempt position focused on ensuring that the kitchen and service areas remain stocked, clean, and hygienic. The role involves cleaning equipment such as work tables, refrigerators, meat blocks, utensils, pots, and pans using appropriate chemicals designed to meet sanitary guidelines. Beyond cleaning, the Utility Associate monitors ice levels, keg beer supplies, bib soda containers, and CO2 tanks to ensure continuous operation during busy travel times.
