The position available at Juniper Communities is a full-time Medical Concierge role, paying $30.00 per hour. This role is a crucial component of the Juniper Village Wellness Staff and plays an integral part in streamlining communication and processes among primary care providers, ancillary services, therapies, the community team, residents, and their families. The Medical Concierge will be responsible for coordinating daily primary care clinic activities, managing resident health coaching and communication, and supporting administrative tasks related to resident care and documentation. This position is ideally suited for a highly motivated customer service specialist who possesses previous medical knowledge and experience, especially within assisted living or medical assisting environments. The Medical Concierge will have the opportunity to work closely with residents and families to establish self-management health goals, schedule and remind residents of their medical appointments, and ensure smooth coordination of transportation and follow-up care. Additionally, the role involves maintaining electronic resident files, auditing charts for accuracy, verifying insurance information, and reviewing payment options with the residents and providers.   • Successful completion of a CPR and First Aid course or ability to complete within 30 days of hire
  • Previous medication administration experience
  • Knowledge of healthcare field, medical terminology, physiology and psychology of older adults
  • Previous assisted living experience preferred
  • Previous medical assistant experience preferred
