The Full-Time Room Attendant position at Marriott Charleston is a vital role within the housekeeping department, focused on maintaining the impeccable condition of guest rooms to uphold the hotel’s brand standards. This role requires diligent attention to detail, efficiency, and a positive attitude to ensure that every guest room is clean, comfortable, and inviting. Working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with weekend shifts from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays, this position offers a consistent schedule with a competitive compensation rate of $17.00 per hour.
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and resetting guest rooms, replacing linens, replenishing amenities, and restocking necessary supplies to create a welcoming environment for guests. Additionally, you will identify and report any maintenance issues or room damage to supervisors promptly to ensure swift resolution and continued guest satisfaction. Keeping the housekeeping carts and storage areas organized and clean will be part of your routine responsibilities. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you will occasionally provide prompt and courteous service directly to guests, enhancing their overall experience.
