Currently, the Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is seeking a Restaurant General Manager for the Mara Restaurant & Bar. This is a unique opportunity to join a top-tier luxury hotel company and take a leadership role in one of its signature dining venues. The Mara Restaurant & Bar General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring the highest standards of service, product quality, and guest satisfaction. This position plays a critical role in not only managing the daily functions of the restaurant but also in shaping the overall guest experience through strategic planning, staff leadership, and creative revenue management.
The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team, including selecting, training, evaluating, motivating, coaching, and disciplining staff to uphold the Four Seasons culture and core values. They will oversee labor and operating expenses, ensuring budget adherence while implementing creative solutions to maximize profitability. In addition to managing financial performance, the General Manager will maintain visible relationships with guests, encouraging repeat visits and fostering new patronage. Collaboration with key stakeholders such as the Director of Food & Beverage and the Executive and Sous Chefs is essential for menu development and maintaining product excellence.
This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to ensure seamless operations. The General Manager must also comply with company standards and work harmoniously and professionally with all coworkers and supervisors.                 - Three or more years of restaurant or bar management experience preferably in a hotel or luxury environment
 - Exceptional knowledge of food and beverage including wine, beer and spirits
 - Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
 - Good problem-solving ability
 - Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
 - Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
 - Additional language skills encouraged
