The role of Manager, Global Travel Program, The Americas at Baker McKenzie is crucial to the seamless operation and optimization of the firm’s travel initiatives throughout the Americas region. This position involves managing every aspect of the Global Travel Program, ranging from overseeing operations and managing relationships with appointed travel agencies to driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders. The role-holder will spearhead efforts to optimize travel tools, analyze travel data to identify trends, and work with travel suppliers to ensure the best value and return on investment. Importantly, the position emphasizes the safety and security of all personnel traveling on behalf of the firm, establishing a robust duty of care. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with strong operational execution skills. The Manager will serve as a primary liaison between the firm and travel suppliers, including the appointed travel agency, managing compliance with the firm's travel policies while ensuring an excellent customer service experience for all travelers and travel arrangers.
