The Food and Beverage Project Manager role at Universal Kids Resort is a strategic and hands-on position designed to support the development, coordination, and execution of various food and beverage programs and systems. Reporting directly to senior leadership including the Vice President and Directors, this role is essential in driving critical projects related to event coordination, menu engineering, capital investment, labor management, and collaboration across departments. The position entails working closely with company partners and serving as a liaison between Food and Beverage, Marketing, and Vendor Relations to ensure seamless operations and maximized guest satisfaction. In this capacity, the Food and Beverage Project Manager will lead special projects from beginning to end, including gap analysis, project planning, cost estimating, tracking, and implementation of solutions aligned with company goals. Maintaining strict compliance with health department regulations and beverage laws is paramount, with ongoing communication and training directed at Assistant Managers to uphold these standards. The candidate will analyze performance data such as daily financial reports, venue statistics, guest satisfaction, and incident reports to inform strategic initiatives that enhance the guest experience and operational efficiency. Moreover, the role carries supervisory responsibility, overseeing Assistant Managers and mentoring Supervisors to achieve department objectives. The Food and Beverage Project Manager will also provide resort-wide duty manager coverage, responding to escalated incidents and ensuring safety and smooth service operations. Environmental, health, and safety compliance is an integral aspect of the role, requiring active participation and adherence to established policies. This position demands a leader with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience within food and beverage, possessing a Certified Professional Food Manager certification, and preferably holding a bachelor's degree.
