The Make Ready Technician role at Morgan Properties plays a critical part in maintaining the high standards of the company’s apartment communities by preparing vacant units for new residents. This position involves a variety of non-technical and maintenance-related tasks aimed at ensuring that apartments meet the market-ready condition standards. Responsibilities include caulking, drywall repair, touch-up painting, and testing all locks and key sets. The role also supports general property upkeep such as maintaining exterior lighting and handling ground equipment repair and preventative maintenance. Additionally, the Make Ready Technician contributes to maintaining the grounds and common areas by performing tasks like trash pickup, sweeping sidewalks and driveways, and snow removal. The technician also assists maintenance staff, porters, and housekeepers as necessary and performs pool maintenance. Due to the nature of the property management industry, the Make Ready Technician must be available to respond promptly to site emergencies such as snow or ice events. This position offers an hourly pay rate ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 and includes a broad benefits package that supports employee wellbeing and development.
