The Maintenance Technician role at Oshkosh AeroTech involves a comprehensive set of responsibilities focused on the upkeep, repair, and servicing of machinery and mechanical equipment, particularly passenger loading bridges and gate services. This position requires a detail-oriented professional skilled in mechanical and electrical maintenance who can troubleshoot and repair complex equipment following diagrams, operational manuals, and manufacturer specifications. Maintenance Technicians are required to work hands-on with tools and precision measuring instruments to diagnose issues, dismantle and replace defective parts, and ensure the optimal functioning of equipment. The job demands vigilance and the ability to detect irregularities before they lead to equipment failure, supporting continuous and safe airport operations.
Employees in this role must also perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication and detailed inspections.
