The position of Manager, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) at Roku is a critical role within the company’s commitment to workforce and business safety. Based in Austin, Texas, and reporting to the Senior Manager, Workplace Experience for the Americas, this role demands a proactive and collaborative EHS professional responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining EHS programs that comply with governmental regulations and company standards. The incumbent will play an essential role in safeguarding employees, facilities, and operational processes by ensuring rigorous management of health and safety initiatives across multiple sites and regions. You will oversee the day-to-day operation of health and safety programs, lead investigations of workplace incidents, conduct risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement through detailed safety audits and reporting. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Site Leads, Security Operations, Human Resources, Legal, Facilities, and Workplace Experience, you will embed a culture of safety in diverse work environments, including remote and hybrid settings. Additionally, the Manager will support global EHS initiatives to foster alignment and consistency across various regions including the Americas, ensuring that best practices in training, compliance, and reporting are maintained. This role requires a strong knowledge of North American EHS regulations such as OSHA, EPA, WHMIS, and CSA standards, and a commitment to serving as a regional subject matter expert. The candidate will manage contractor and vendor safety oversight, lead emergency preparedness planning including the Emergency Response Team program, and advance ergonomic safety initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to influence broad organizational practices by collaborating with multiple stakeholders and representing Roku in engagements with regulatory agencies, industry bodies, and external auditors. The Manager, EHS will also be encouraged to obtain certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED, and contribute as a trainer to enhance the safety culture within the company. The role requires occasional regional travel within the Americas and working Monday through Thursday on-site in Austin, Texas.   • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in EHS or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant EHS experience
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, WHMIS, CSA or equivalent regulations
  • Professional EHS certification preferred
  • Proven experience in multi-site EHS program management
  • Ability to lead incident investigations and safety audits
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with virtual collaboration platforms and safety management systems
  • Willingness to participate in emergency response activities and training
  • Ability to travel occasionally within Americas
  • Based in Austin, TX and able to work Monday through Thursday in the office
  • Experience with Americas region operations
