We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking Maintenance Personnel to join our team at the parking facility located at 850 Le Jeune, Miami, FL. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $15.00 per hour and requires approximately 35 hours per week. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and functionality of the parking garage and surrounding lots, playing a crucial role in keeping the facility safe, clean, and operational. The role involves a variety of custodial and maintenance duties such as cleaning, equipment upkeep, and ensuring adherence to preventative maintenance schedules.
The Maintenance Personnel will perform daily inspections and maintenance tasks, including identifying and repairing malfunctioning equipment, cleaning surfaces, performing safety checks, and operating machinery like blowers, sweepers, and power washers. Accurate and timely reporting on maintenance activities is essential, as well as communicating with the Location Manager regarding needed materials and supplies. The position demands someone who is attentive to detail, proactive in performing maintenance duties, and dedicated to upholding Legacy Parking's high customer service standards.
Additionally, this role involves interaction with customers, management, and other staff, requiring a professional and courteous demeanor at all times. Flexibility to work various shifts—potentially including nights, weekends, and holidays—is necessary to meet the operational needs of the facility. Physical requirements for the role are significant, involving standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 100 pounds, often in varying weather conditions.
