Situated in Columbus, Ohio, the Aircraft Maintenance department plays a pivotal role in the overall operational success of NetJets. The current opening is for the position of Maintenance Controller, a critical role that involves overseeing and managing all aspects of aircraft maintenance coordination. This is a full-time position based out of the corporate office in Columbus, where the successful candidate will act as the primary liaison for mechanical irregularities and unscheduled maintenance activities. The Maintenance Controller is tasked with ensuring that all aircraft maintenance complies with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company safety standards, and quality policies, particularly referencing the NJA 14 CFR 135 General Maintenance Manual. The role requires a dynamic professional who can manage aircraft out-of-service statuses effectively, ensuring the timely and safe return of aircraft to operational status. They will work closely with various internal teams such as the System Operations Center, Flight Operations, and Maintenance Vendors, coordinating maintenance schedules, tooling, and parts procurement to maximize aircraft availability and safety. Maintenance Controllers facilitate communication across departments affected by grounded aircraft and maintain real-time tracking of aircraft airworthiness using approved deferral and tracking programs. The role demands flexibility as it operates on a 24/7 basis, requiring availability for variable shifts including weekends and holidays. This position also emphasizes strong problem-solving and communication skills as the controller coordinates directly with pilots and utilizes software applications to evaluate and disposition aircraft faults.   • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
