The Trade Compliance Specialist role at Lutron is integral to ensuring that the company's global operations remain fully compliant with international import and export regulations. Situated at Lutron's Annex office in Center Valley, PA, this full-time position involves close collaboration with internal teams, including shipping and logistics, engineering, and customer service, as well as external partners like freight forwarders and customs brokers. The Trade Compliance Specialist plays a critical role in facilitating smooth international shipments by accurately navigating complex trade laws and customs requirements. This includes responsibilities such as assigning Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes, resolving trade compliance issues, coordinating with customs brokers for accurate documentation, and supporting the creation and management of Schedule B export numbers. Additionally, the role involves reviewing commercial invoices to ensure timely import declarations and tracking trade compliance metrics to support operational transparency. The Trade Compliance Specialist also focuses on Free Trade Agreement (FTA) qualifications and documentation, testing global classification and FTA tools, and providing training to team members on best practices related to import and export compliance procedures. Given the importance of this role in maintaining smooth international logistics and regulatory adherence, Lutron seeks individuals who are detail-oriented, driven, and possess strong analytical skills to thrive in this dynamic and critical function.   • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in import/export regulations or comparable field preferred
  • Must live within commutable distance of Center Valley PA
  • Preferred certifications include Custom Certified Specialist, Certified Export Specialist, or Licensed Customs Broker
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve trade compliance issues
