The Campus Recruiting Coordinator role at Love's is designed to be an entry-level position within the Human Resources corporate team, focused on strengthening the company’s early careers program. Reporting to the campus recruiting lead, this position will be instrumental in attracting, engaging, and hiring new talent from universities and colleges that align with Love's business needs and growth strategy. The role requires the coordinator to work closely with internal recruiting teams, hiring managers, and university partners to develop and implement customized campus recruitment strategies.
Core responsibilities include organizing and managing large-scale recruiting events such as career fairs, information sessions, and student organization engagements. The coordinator must efficiently handle logistics, extensive travel arrangements, and communication with internal university ambassadors. They will assist in candidate sourcing, pre-screening, interview coordination, and facilitating smooth onboarding processes. This includes managing job requisitions within an applicant tracking system and ensuring compliance with hiring procedures such as background checks and I-9 verification.
Success in this role depends on exceptional organizational skills, a strong sense of urgency, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. Candidates will need to be proficient with Microsoft Office and ideally have familiarity with HR-specific software. Although a bachelors degree in human resources or a related field is advantageous, it is not mandatory; however, experience in recruitment or talent acquisition is preferred.
