The Lot Attendant is responsible for managing daily yard tasks, ensuring safety and security protocols are strictly followed, and providing exceptional customer service to drivers and onsite stakeholders. This position will involve overseeing truck and equipment check-ins and check-outs, coordinating with dispatch teams, securing the yard, and conducting regular inspections to uphold the highest standards of safety and maintenance. The Lot Attendant must also act as a reliable point of contact for customers and drivers, addressing any issues swiftly and gathering feedback to enhance service quality. Adaptation to regional economic trends and supporting strategic initiatives through operational insights are also key components of this role. Work shifts for this role include an afternoon shift, Monday through Friday from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and an overnight shift spanning Saturday to Monday from 8:00 pm through 8:00 am, covering both Sunday night and Monday morning. The role requires a proactive attitude, strong communication skills, and physical ability to perform tasks outdoors in various weather conditions.
