This is a part-time Concierge position offering approximately 4 hours per week during day shifts, weekends, and holidays. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, prospective residents, visitors, and vendors. The primary responsibility of this role is to meet or exceed resident expectations by providing attentive and professional customer service and acting as a liaison to various departments within the community. Concierges at Loomis Communities demonstrate professionalism, respect towards diversity, and a commitment to resident satisfaction. This role requires a personable individual who is able to create and maintain positive relationships and address concerns or issues promptly and confidentially.
The Concierge’s duties include assisting residents and their guests with a variety of requests such as arranging dinner reservations, transportation, housekeeping services, and room reservations. Additionally, the Concierge is responsible for handling package receipt, storage, and retrieval for residents and helping residents resolve housekeeping and maintenance concerns. A critical aspect of this position is ensuring the safety and security of the community by monitoring entry and exit points and approving non-resident access in coordination with residents or management. The Concierge also provides guidance and training for new security personnel and performs assigned security duties including property patrol and emergency response.
This role demands someone who can maintain the property’s appearance and keep public areas orderly, while sustaining a calm and courteous demeanor even during busy times. The Concierge supports administrative functions by keeping accurate records of resident vehicles, phone numbers, deliveries, frequent guests, and service providers. They also assist the Administrative Assistant and Executive Director with clerical tasks and handle financial transactions including petty cash.
