This role focuses on providing internal operational leadership within Bosch’s logistics division. The individual will oversee the execution of daily logistics operations including managing inbound and outbound freight, dispatch activities, and controlling freight spend. The position demands hands-on supervision of logistics tasks ensuring adherence to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs). Key metrics such as on-time pickups, freight budget control, and tender acceptance rates are central to the role's success. Additionally, the role will involve developing and coaching a team of logistics professionals, fostering a productive work environment, and driving continuous operational improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely completion of records and reports required for internal audits and regulatory compliance, analyzing performance data to identify efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Customer Service Success, OTM Planning, Shipping, Receiving, Materials, and Finance is critical to ensure seamless logistics operations. This position requires a detail-oriented leader adept at problem-solving, stress management, and who values integrity and responsibility. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics experience is preferred for effective job performance.
