The position of Regional Assistant Box Office Manager is crucial within Live Nation’s operational framework. This role entails assisting with ticketing operations across concert venues in multiple U.S. locations. Candidates suited for this position must be detail-oriented and exhibit excellent organizational capabilities. The role demands professional communication with venue management, partners, and clients, ensuring operations proceed efficiently, accurately, and effectively under the pressures of live event environments. The ideal individual brings proven expertise with ticketing software, staff management, and guest relations. The Regional Assistant Box Office Manager will support the day-to-day management of the Box Office department within Live Nation’s owned and operated venues, upholding industry best practices and company standards. This includes travel as necessary to various resident locations. Core responsibilities encompass serving as a primary ticketing contact for events and venues, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including Live Nation promoters and ticketing personnel, collaborating closely on staff training and supervision, and ensuring compliance with ticket operations policies and procedures. This role also involves partnering on nightly event operations such as ticket sales, scanning, and reporting, while fostering a positive team environment and maintaining customer service excellence. Event management duties involve working with the Box Office Managers and other key stakeholders on event programming, ticketing logistics, ticket inventory monitoring, dynamic pricing strategies, and ensuring ADA ticketing compliance. Financial duties include maintaining accurate accounting records, overseeing cash handling and reconciliation, preparing deposits, and participating in event settlements. Additionally, the role requires keeping ticketing software and hardware operational, embracing new technology tools within Ticketmaster’s TM1 suite, staying current with industry trends, attending relevant meetings and conferences, and facilitating effective communication both within the venue and to the public.
