The Line Maintenance Supervisor role at Breeze Airways offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage line and hangar maintenance activities, ensuring aircraft safety and compliance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations as well as company policies. This supervisory position entails the responsibility of assigning work functions to Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs), coordinating tasks, and maintaining stringent safety and quality standards. Reporting to the Regional Manager of Line Maintenance, this role also includes hands-on maintenance duties alongside leadership responsibilities. The successful candidate will act as a pivotal liaison between maintenance operations and other departments to promptly resolve any issues impacting aircraft maintenance activities.
The Supervisor is charged with overseeing all maintenance functions within their assigned area, from verifying maintenance documentation accuracy to updating maintenance systems, authorizing work schedules including overtime and vacation, and ensuring all personnel are trained and equipped to perform their duties. A strong emphasis is placed on safety briefings and maintaining a clean, foreign object damage-free (FOD) work environment. The position demands flexibility in working hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required, with up to 20% travel involved to support maintenance locations. Candidates should have a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license with significant experience in commercial aircraft maintenance. Familiarity with airline maintenance information systems like TRAX is beneficial.

- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent educational achievement
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions and recent experience on commercial aircraft types
- Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug test
- Must pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background check
- 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience maintaining commercial aircraft
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must have a valid passport with no travel restrictions
- Must have the ability to travel unrestricted to and from the United States
- Must have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
- Must be flexible and willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed
- Must be willing to travel 20% of the time
- Must be willing to work with other departments within the company as needed
