This role is essential to maintaining the brand's standard of excellence, as Line Cooks are responsible for preparing and steaming the dumplings that are the hallmark of Din Tai Fung’s menu. The position requires operating in a show kitchen environment, emphasizing the importance of a clean, well-groomed, and professional appearance. Employees in this role help maintain the seamless flow of kitchen operations by supporting dumpling preparation, assembling, closing, and organizing dumplings for steaming throughout their shifts. This is an hourly position offering competitive pay starting at $24.50 per hour, with the final wage determined by factors such as prior experience, relevant skills, and market conditions.
