The Part-Time Line Cook position at Latitude Margaritaville Hilton Head is a pivotal role within the culinary team, focused on supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to manage and execute key aspects of the property's dining program. This role involves helping oversee the daily operation of the restaurant kitchen as well as supporting catering and special events functions. The Line Cook is responsible for maintaining a clean, efficient, and organized kitchen environment while ensuring that all dishes meet the high standards established by the Margaritaville brand. Training of co-workers on cooking techniques and kitchen protocols will also be part of the responsibilities, ensuring team growth and consistency in food quality.
This role is ideal for an individual with strong interpersonal skills who can interact successfully with both residents and team members, maintaining a professional and positive attitude under all circumstances. The cook must possess solid culinary skills, including basic cooking techniques such as braising, sautéing, roasting, grilling, and portion control. Knowledge of correct knife handling is essential, alongside a focus on safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance according to federal, state, and local laws.
