The role of the Prep Cook/Line Cook at Moku Kitchen is integral to the kitchen’s daily operations and overall success. This hourly position, with a salary range of $14.00 to $24.00, involves preparing and cooking food items at assigned stations to meet guest orders accurately and efficiently. The Prep Cook is responsible for reading and understanding recipes and point-of-sale (POS) tickets, measuring and preparing food according to recipes, and ensuring that food allergens are carefully handled to guarantee safe consumption. Additionally, the position requires maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the workstation, restocking supplies, and communicating effectively with supervising chefs and fellow kitchen staff. The role demands someone who can work well under pressure, adhere to detailed preparation standards, and contribute to a positive and energetic kitchen atmosphere.                 - Must have six months prep cook experience within an HCR restaurant or one year external line cook experience
 - Ability to read and understand recipes and POS generated tickets
 - Ability to handle food allergies carefully
 - Must pass training tests with minimum 90 percent score
 - Ability to work in fast-paced, high-energy environment
 - Dependable with regular attendance
 - Ability to communicate effectively with team and management
 - Willingness to acquire personal knife set within 30 days of hire
 - Must be able to perform physical demands such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and pushing/pulling weights
 - Ability to wear required personal protective equipment including facemask and non-slip shoes
