The Culinary Specialist role at Havoc House is critical to maintaining the high-quality dining experience that the GCU community expects and enjoys. This position involves the preparation and cooking of all menu items in line with standardized operating procedures (SOP), ensuring consistently delicious and visually appealing dishes. The Culinary Specialist will be responsible for upholding strict sanitation and safety standards compliant with FDA and OSHA requirements, managing food portions accurately according to recipe guidelines, and efficiently restocking ingredients and supplies throughout the work shift. Attention to detail is paramount in controlling food waste, reducing costs, and ensuring proper food storage with precise labeling and dating of perishable items.   • Minimum one year experience
  • Prefer 3 years' experience in high volume/demand hospitality venue
  • Must be able to have flexible schedule which may include early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to obtain Maricopa County Food Handler's Card at one's own expense prior to beginning of employment
  • Must have work authorization documents for United States
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Must successfully pass a background check
