The hotel seeks a dedicated Line Cook to join its dynamic Culinary Department. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts and eager to grow their hospitality careers. The Line Cook role at DoubleTree by Hilton Abilene involves preparing high-quality hot food items including meat, fish, fowl, sauces, stocks, and seasonings, following designated recipes and quality standards. This position requires a focus on quality control, timely preparation of guest orders, and strict adherence to food safety and sanitation practices. The role demands flexibility, as shifts vary between morning, mid-day, and evening, with hours ranging from 5 AM to 11:30 PM including weekends and holidays, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry. The pay rate for this position is $18.00 per hour.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen role
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks required in a kitchen environment
