The role available is for a Line Cook, a critical position within the kitchen team responsible for preparing food to order following established recipes, procedures, and quality expectations. This role requires a professional who can work efficiently under pressure, maintain cleanliness in their work area, and contribute to the smooth operation of the culinary staff. The Line Cook must be able to manage multiple responsibilities such as stocking, cleaning, food preparation, and responding to special guest requests while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Candidates will work with various kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, and stoves, ensuring all tools are properly maintained and operated safely. This position demands physical endurance for standing and walking long shifts, the ability to lift and carry heavy items, and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with other kitchen team members.
This is a full-time employment opportunity, with shifts typically lasting 8 to 10 hours, requiring dedication and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The selected candidate will follow the company handbook and comply with all safety protocols while contributing to the overall goal of creating a seamless and enjoyable guest dining experience. The Line Cook will also partake in continued food safety and handling training, and possibly other site-specific duties relevant to their assigned location.
                - Able to read and understand English
 - Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds (bags/boxes) and carry short distances
 - Able to stand and walk during 8-10-hour shift
 - Understands hazards include but are not limited to cuts, burns, slips, trips and falls
 - Able to work closely with other staff at a fast pace, under pressure, maintaining quality standards
 - Able to interact verbally with other line positions
 - Able to work closely with other staff members, often in confined areas
 - Able to complete additional tasks assigned by management
 - Able to meet all standards for safe food handling
 - Able to work at approximately 36-inch table/stove and reach in approximately 36 inches
 - Able to reach (up to 6 feed overhead), bend, stoop and wipe
 - Have experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment, including but not limited to knives, slicer, salamander, stove, oven, mixer, and Robot Coupe
