The Line Cook position plays a vital role in maintaining the high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation that the company is known for. This role involves preparing, assembling, and presenting food items in accordance with 49th State Brewing Company recipes and specifications. Line Cooks will utilize a broad range of kitchen skills, including slicing, grinding, frying, and baking, to contribute to the successful execution of meal services. Their responsibilities also include monitoring the quality of cooked and prepared foods through appropriate testing and ensuring that any unattractive or spoiled foods are promptly detected and discarded.\n\nThis position requires individuals who are committed to promoting a culture of safety in all workplace areas, including food preparation, customer interactions, and team member welfare. Working in a high-energy kitchen environment, Line Cooks must be capable of efficiently producing food items in a timely manner to ensure all orders are served hot and simultaneously. The company operates in variable environments, including both restaurant kitchens and outdoor settings in Denali, which may expose employees to physical challenges such as cold temperatures and slippery surfaces.
