The Lead-Cafe role at LifeCafe is a dynamic leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and growth of the LifeCafe location. This integral role involves managing both front-of-house and back-of-house activities, including staff hiring, training, supervision, menu execution, and customer service delivery. The Lead-Cafe must ensure that all food and beverage items adhere to Life Time's high standards for quality, presentation, and preparation, while also maintaining efficient ticket times and excellent customer satisfaction. This position demands a proactive leader who can model operational excellence by working alongside the team in a fast-paced, vibrant environment known as The Zone.
Beyond operational execution, the Lead-Cafe is entrusted with financial stewardship, maintaining Profit and Loss statements, managing budgets, and enforcing cost controls related to food, beverage, and labor expenses. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of inventory management, payroll processes, and food safety standards, including compliance with ServSafe certification guidelines. The Lead-Cafe fosters a culture of continuous learning and motivation by training, developing, and assessing team members, ensuring each individual grows professionally and contributes to the overall success of the cafe. - High school diploma or GED
- ServSafe Certification or equivalent certification
- CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
- 2 years of management and leadership experience or a college degree in culinary business
