Roth’s Sea & Steak is currently seeking a passionate and service-oriented Lead Bartender to join their dynamic team at their on-site location in Colorado Springs. This hourly, non-exempt position offers competitive pay ranging from $16 to $18 per hour plus tips. Reporting to the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Bar Manager, the Lead Bartender will play a critical role in shaping the bar experience, fostering team development, and upholding the highest standards of quality and service.
In this leadership role, the Lead Bartender will be entrusted with training and inspiring the bar team, setting clear service standards, and maintaining a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous learning. The role requires oversight of an innovative beverage program, ensuring that every cocktail served reflects creativity, consistency, and precision. The Lead Bartender will be the face of the bar, creating memorable guest experiences through engaging and attentive hospitality. Inventory control, cost management, and collaboration with vendors are key responsibilities, ensuring the bar is stocked with premium products at all times.
This position also focuses heavily on staff education, with expectations to train team members on cocktail preparation, spirits knowledge, and responsible alcohol service. The Lead Bartender will remain abreast of industry trends and inspire curiosity and knowledge within the team. Operational excellence in bar setup, cleanliness, and maintenance are essential daily duties, along with event support and compliance with safety and legal regulations.
