This exciting part-time opportunity is for the role of Associate Auction Coordinator based in Laredo, TX. As the face of Auction.com in the Texas territory, you will represent the company by co-hosting and conducting live auctions, which are traditionally held on courthouse steps. The role demands multitasking to ensure all necessary auction processes are completed successfully while engaging directly with bidders and various on-site stakeholders, including government employees and legal representatives. You will play an active role in educating customers on auction participation, making a tangible difference in their real estate journey.
Training for this position offers hourly pay starting at $17.50, with incremental increases after successful completion and as you develop skills and proficiency, potentially rising to between $20.00 and $30.00 an hour. Flexibility is key because auctions are scheduled monthly and can vary in hours, typically requiring anywhere between 2 to 8 hours per event, averaging 6 to 12 hours of work monthly. Additionally, administrative duties and training sessions are part of the role, offering continuing opportunities for professional growth and increased compensation.
The geographical focus of the role is centered in Laredo, TX, but you should expect to travel up to two hours to surrounding areas for auctions, with personal mileage reimbursed beyond 40 miles per day.
