The role of Flight Instructor at FlightSafety International is a critical position that demands a high degree of professionalism, technical knowledge, and instructional skill. The Flight Instructor is responsible for delivering exceptional ground and simulator flight instruction aligned with aviation regulations and FlightSafety’s established training principles. This includes facilitating core, specialty, and enrichment training courses to pilots and aviation professionals, ensuring they meet stringent competency standards. The instructor also plays a key role in assessing trainees’ progress, recommending qualifications or additional training as necessary, and maintaining precise training records that document the developmental pathway and success of each client.   • Must be able and willing to participate in FlightSafety's DOT Drug and Alcohol testing program
  • An unrestricted ATP certificate or an ICAO member state Airline Transport Pilot License
  • If no ATP, must meet the requirements of 14 CFR part 61.153
  • 14 CFR part 61.64 without a Supervised Operating Experience limitation
  • A minimum of one unrestricted PIC type rating
  • Preferred: FAR Part 135, FAR Part 121, or military training experience
  • Preferred: 2,500 hours of total flight time
