This position involves physically and clerically managing the receipt and shipment of supplies and finished products central to HMSHost's inventory and supply chain management. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, the Runner No-Driving supports the company’s operational efficiency by ensuring that deliveries are processed accurately and in a timely manner, while also maintaining inventory integrity. This role requires a keen eye for detail and organization, along with physical capability, as the duties include lifting and moving stock items up to 50 pounds. The position is non-exempt and is designed for individuals who enjoy performing essential warehouse tasks with a commitment to quality and service. Responsibilities include verifying shipping records, checking packaging and labeling compliance, unpacking goods, identifying damaged or expired products, and managing stock rotation according to product codes. The runner also supports warehouse maintenance efforts such as equipment upkeep and assisting with inventory audits. The ability to use computer systems to track shipments and maintain accurate inventory records is critical to success in this role.
