The Kitchen Manager is the cornerstone of the Food & Beverage program, tasked with bringing nationally recognized menus to life while maintaining the highest standards for quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing kitchen operations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, making it ideal for experienced professionals who thrive under pressure and embrace leadership challenges. Kitchen Managers work closely with the center's General Manager to oversee food-related matters, ensuring smooth operation across kitchen staff, including lead cooks, cooks, dishwashers, and servers. The Kitchen Manager is responsible for following the company’s mandated Food & Beverage menus and purchasing protocols, managing budgets related to revenue, costs of sales, labor, and supplies, as well as monitoring profit and loss statements. Planning and executing catering and special events in tandem with the Operations and Sales teams is also a vital aspect of the role. Efficient staff scheduling and inventory management help accommodate fluctuations in business volume. The role also involves recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining a skilled kitchen team, fostering a positive and professional work culture. Quality control is crucial, with a strong emphasis on maintaining product freshness, proper presentation, and adherence to company standards. The Kitchen Manager supervises all food preparation processes and ensures compliance with sanitation and local Department of Health regulations through routine audits and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
