Beyond the essential tasks of food preparation and safety maintenance, Kitchen Leaders also take charge of inventory management, ordering supplies, monitoring kitchen equipment, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace. The role demands strong communication skills to coordinate between back-of-house and front-of-house teams, maintaining smooth operations and outstanding service quality. With a focus on safety, the Kitchen Leader is responsible for following regulatory guidelines, completing necessary documentation such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Inventory Rotation (FIFO), and ensuring the work environment is free from hazards. This position plays a pivotal role in enhancing the overall customer experience by promoting teamwork, efficiency, and leadership within the kitchen team.
