We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Cook to join our culinary team. This role is crucial to the success of our brand, culinary culture, and future. As part of our onboarding experience, the Lead Cook will have the unique opportunity to enhance their culinary skills and career progression through our partnership with Rouxbe Online Culinary School. This seamless introduction includes comprehensive courses that provide 9 transferable college credit hours upon completion, empowering team members to build a lasting career in the culinary industry from day one.
The Lead Cook will play an essential role in preparing meals and following established recipes in our scratch kitchens. Our food philosophy emphasizes passion for food, coupled with excitement and fun in the culinary process. Our menus showcase a blend of fresh and healthy options alongside more indulgent choices, reflecting seasonal trends and diverse preferences. Duties will include supporting kitchen staff, ensuring smooth operations during meal services, and assisting in the training and development of line cooks and prep staff. The position offers next-day pay through our PayActiv benefit, meaning you work today and get paid tomorrow. This role is full-time, with wages ranging from $19.57 to $23.75 per hour depending on experience and skills. - high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of four years' progressive responsibility in full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club/hotel, or cruise line environment
- ServeSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within three-month introductory period
- experienced in all cooking stations and methods
