The position offered is for a Freight Forwarder, Air Import, located in Seattle, WA within the Air & Sea US division. This is a full-time role with an hourly pay range of $22.50 to $30.50, determined by factors such as job knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical location. The Freight Forwarder, Air Import, plays a critical role in ensuring that imported goods transported by air arrive timely and are efficiently managed through customs clearance and delivery to their final destinations. Responsibilities include coordinating with airlines, customs agents, trucking companies, and customers while maintaining compliance with customs and trade regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle fast-paced environments while providing exceptional customer service. Candidates with prior experience in freight forwarding or logistics, especially in air imports, are preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, understanding of customs clearance documentation, and fluency in English are essential, while additional language skills and experience with logistics software are advantageous.
