The Escort operates under general oversight from the site management team and functions as an integral member who supports continuity during personnel rotations. The responsibilities include escorting un-cleared personnel such as local nationals and other country nationals, monitoring their movements and work activities, ensuring prohibited items do not enter the base, and maintaining detailed logs of personnel and vehicles. The role demands problem-solving skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a proactive approach to de-escalating conflicts, which significantly contribute to mission accomplishment. In addition to these core responsibilities, the Escort is expected to use various communication tools such as land mobile radios, cell phones, and laptops to maintain contact and accountability for work activities.
