Direct hires earn between $33 and $43 per hour, including full company benefits and paid time off, with permanent employment status. Contract hires can expect between $40 and $50 per hour, JARBO benefits, a contract duration of 6 months to 1 year, with the possibility to convert to permanent status, along with per diem pay. The Aircraft A&P Mechanic is an essential part of the flight testing team, performing complex operations related to aircraft system installation, adjustment, and troubleshooting. The responsibilities cover a broad range of activities including engine setup, fuel calibration, and avionics and engine instrumentation package maintenance. You will also handle fueling and defueling procedures for both piston and turbine engines and work on adjusting flight control systems to meet engineering specifications to ensure optimal flight characteristics. This role offers shift flexibility with both 1st and 2nd shifts available, though some Saturdays are required.
